Kiran Thomas, CEO, of Jio Platforms in a statement said, "We are pleased to have DigiBoxx, a made-in-India storage platform, join us on this journey as we believe their offerings are secure, fast, intuitive, and world-class."

DigiBoxx, which was founded in 2020, is a digital file storage and digital asset management platform for consumers and enterprises. In addition to the current storage threshold of 20 GB, users can now get an additional 10 GB of space on DigiBoxx by signing up using the JioPhotos app. Registered users can create private folders, upload, and share pictures and videos from their smartphones, and save data of multiple kinds in one place. Jio subscribers will be able to keep their personal data and view anything on the Jio Set-top Box by enabling auto-sync.

Jio Set-top Box customers can upload and view personal videos and photos by adding their DigiBoxx account to the JioPhotos app, which comes pre-loaded on each and every Jio Set-top Box. JioPhotos allows Jio customers to access all of their photos stored in multiple cloud storages such as Google Photos and JioCloud, as well as content shared throughout social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, on the Jio Set-top Box.

"We firmly believe we have a game-changing service and platform, which nobody can match or compete with, considering the storage space we provide," commented Arnab Mitra, CEO of DigiBoxx. "This is more than an integration of APIs but a meeting of minds that have brought Jio and DigiBoxx together with a common vision to transform cloud storage and usage in India," he added.
